The Role We are seeking an experienced Barber with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to provide comprehensive barbering services. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in modern and traditional cutting techniques, beard grooming, and providing personalized client consultations. Duties and Responsibilities Provide professional barbering services, including standard haircuts, fades, tapers, and complex styling. Perform straight razor shaves, beard trimming, shaping, and facial hair grooming. Conduct friendly and thorough consultations to understand clients' needs and recommend appropriate styles and hair care products. Maintain an immaculately clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with health and safety standards. Sterilize and sanitize all tools and equipment after each use. Manage client appointments, walk-ins, and basic cash handling or point-of-sale operations as needed. Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent service and interpersonal skills. Skills Required Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of continuous experience working as a Barber. Technical Proficiency: Expertise in using clippers, shears, trimmers, and straight razors. Mastery of all hair types and textures. Customer Service: Exceptional communication and active listening skills. Time Management: Ability to stay on schedule while providing high-quality, meticulous service. Professionalism: A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team. Compensation & Work Hours Salary: CI$ 12.00 per hour Work Hours: 40 hours per week Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package in strict accordance with the Cayman Islands Labour Law, including: Health Insurance: Provided in accordance with the Health Insurance Law (Employer pays a minimum of 50% of the standard premium). Pension Scheme: Provided in accordance with the National Pensions Law (5% Employer contribution / 5% Employee contribution). Vacation: Minimum of 2 weeks (10 working days) paid vacation per year.
