The prospective employee's responsibilities will include but are not limited to reading and following blueprints, calculating material requirements, and constructing the structural framework of residential projects, including walls, floors, and roofs. They will also install structural components such as beams, joists, and trusses, as well as fixtures including windows, doors, cabinetry, staircases, and railings. Additionally, they will be responsible for creating formwork for concrete foundations, walls, and columns, installing rafters or trusses for roofing structures, and applying roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal roofing. They will apply exterior sheathing to provide a base for siding and enhance overall structural stability. Furthermore, they will undertake any additional duties deemed necessary by the contractor to ensure the successful completion of projects.
