Business Director

H&C Corporate Services is seeking an experienced Business Director to join its Cayman leadership team. Acting as a key partner to the Managing Director, this role will lead financial management, reporting, planning and governance while supporting operational effectiveness and strategic business initiatives. The position is primarily finance-focused, with responsibility for ensuring robust financial controls, meaningful management information and effective oversight of offshore finance resources. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning process.
• Oversee monthly management accounts, financial reporting and business performance analysis.
• Manage the month-end close and Group reporting submission process, including review and sign-off of work prepared by offshore finance teams.
• Monitor profitability, cash flow, financial performance and key business indicators.
• Coordinate audits, statutory reporting and local regulatory financial requirements.
• Maintain strong financial controls, governance standards and reporting accuracy.
• Partner with the Managing Director on commercial decision-making, business planning and strategic initiatives.
• Develop management information and reporting that supports effective business decisions.
• Drive operational improvements and support business transformation and integration projects.
• Coordinate governance activities, Board reporting and compliance with corporate and regulatory obligations.
• Partner with HR and Group functions on organisational planning, recruitment and business initiatives.
• Lead, develop and oversee offshore finance and accounting teams to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables across multiple time zones.

Experience

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) (essential).
• Approximately 10 years' leadership experience within finance, business management, professional services or corporate services.
• Essential to have experience working within the corporate services industry.
• Proven experience preparing management accounts, budgets and financial forecasts.
• Strong expertise in management reporting, financial analysis and business performance monitoring.
• Proven experience managing offshore finance/accounting teams, including remote supervision and quality review of work.
• Experience within a regulated environment is advantageous.
• Exposure to business transformation, integration or organisational change initiatives would be beneficial.
