Job Description

Spark! School of Performance Arts is seeking a Music Teacher to join our staff for the upcoming academic year. We are dedicated to inspiring students through high-quality music education and a vibrant performing arts culture. What you'll do

  • Teach students of varied ages and learning styles in one-on-one, small-group, and ensemble settings.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, sequenced lessons and curricula.
  • Support musical development across multiple instruments.
  • Prepare students for external performances and examinations (e.g. Trinity College London).
  • Track progress and provide clear, encouraging feedback.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or Music Performance (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience (studio, K-12, community program, or higher-ed)
  • Recognised teaching qualification (preferred)
  • Strong musicianship and pedagogy across multiple instruments
  • Experience teaching beginners through advanced students.
  • Proven ability to prepare learners for external exam boards.
  • Creative, student-focused teaching style with high expectations for achievement.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $36,000-$48,000 KYD per annum, commensurate with hours of employment and qualifications/experience.
  • Full health insurance provided.
  • Pension contributions in accordance with Cayman Islands requirements.
