Automotive Body Painter

Auto-Tec Cayman is seeking a qualified Automotive Paint Technician to join our premium auto body repair and paint refinishing business. Key Responsibilities

• Perform full automotive refinishing including surface preparation, priming, basecoat and clearcoat

application.

• Carry out panel repairs, filler work, sanding, and surface correction.
• Perform advanced color matching and blending into adjacent panels to achieve seamless OEMquality repairs.
• Carry out 3 stage paint correction and full vehicle Ceramic Coating.
• Prepare and maintain spray equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
• Handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations.
• Work independently and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Automotive Paint Technician.
• Expert knowledge of the complete automotive refinishing process.
• Demonstrated expertise in color matching and blending, with experience using the Valspar

automotive refinish system being essential.

• Strong knowledge of automotive paint systems, spray equipment, primers, basecoats, clearcoats

and refinishing materials.

• Ability to produce high-quality finishes with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Compensation & Working Hours

• Salary: CI$2,000 per month
• Hours: 45 hours per week
• Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
