Junior IT Support Specialist

Island Hospitality is actively seeking qualified applicants for the position outlined below. Island Hospitality is a staffing outsourcing company providing personnel to businesses across the Cayman Islands. One of our key partners, Link International Group, is currently seeking to fill the following position through our manpower services. Link International is an accounting and consulting firm for businesses and individuals in the Cayman Islands. Link has extensive experience working with many businesses in a variety of areas, including other accounting firms through our cross referral network, to ultimately achieve all the objectives of their clients. We are currently inviting experienced applicants to join our team for the position of Junior IT Support Specialist The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for technical issues across the company. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about IT, eager to learn, and ready to provide hands-on support to both office-based and remote employees. In addition to troubleshooting hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 tools, you will play a key role in promoting good cybersecurity practices within the organization. You will help monitor and maintain a secure IT environment.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Industry certifications such as Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and endpoint security tools.
• Strong interest in IT support and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, Ticketing Systems and Remote support tools.
• Awareness of basic cybersecurity principles (e.g., secure passwords, phishing risks, safe data handling).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff.
• QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor
• Willing to work weekends and some late evenings to assist with company’s QuickBooks training program to young Caymanians in partnership with Inspire Cayman
• Customer-service mindset, with patience and professionalism when assisting users.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range CI$8.75 per hour Benefits include vacation days, sick leave, pension and health insurance. Caymanians preferred
