Job Description

We are accepting applications for the following position

GOLF OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

The Golf Operations Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the management of the golf operations to include staff supervision, maintenance of golf shop and tournament operation.

Responsibilities Include

  • Provides unparalleled service to members and guests.
  • Meets the public, schedules tee times and answers questions regarding the use of golf facilities.
  • Actively monitors and manages the golf course pace of play.
  • Actively monitors and manages the daily tee sheet and reservation system.
  • Manages the golf database handicapping system.
  • Supervises staff engaged in collection of fees, managing driving ranges, managing retail inventory, and coordinating golf tournaments.
  • Supervises the merchandising and maintenance of the pro shop including monitoring of the quantity of goods and materials on stock and establishing reorder standards.
  • Ensures completion of daily reports of all transactions and ensures funds collected are deposited daily.
  • Demonstrates continuous efforts to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer services.
  • Supports golf professional staff in delivering golf knowledge to client base.
  • Assists in the scheduling, coordination, set-up and execution of all charity, corporate and association golf events.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a similar position at a high-end golf facility with a membership component.
  • Able to interact and communicate well with people in a professional manner and work cohesively with customers, guests and team members.
  • Proven customer service skills with strong understanding of high-end golf club operations.
  • Must enjoy working outdoors with the ability to tolerate weather extremes.
  • Must be willing to work late shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, to bend, stoop and lift up to 50lbs to complete tasks.
