The successful applicant will be required to perform duties including, but not limited to, the installation and finishing of exterior partitions and drywall to precise dimensions, as well as the installation of windows and doors. Additional responsibilities will include the erection of sub-roofs, ceilings, and wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work. The successful applicant will also install cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, tubs, and vanities, as well as fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures. Responsibilities will also include selecting appropriate lumber based on the required size and strength for each job and liaising with managers, suppliers, contractors, and other construction professionals to ensure project accuracy and efficiency. The successful applicant will be required to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and designs prepared by architects and other professionals and ensure that all work is completed in accordance with applicable building codes, regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices. Other related duties may be assigned as necessary, depending on the specific requirements and needs of each project.
