We are currently hiring a Casa Guide for the 2026/27 school year. planning and delivery of the Montessori curriculum at the Casa/KG level, maintaining and analysing detailed learning and development records, SEND record keeping and analysis in collaboration with SEND staff; administrative tasks associated with a lead classroom role.
Planning and delivery of the Montessori curriculum at the Casa & KG level; Mapping and implementing the CIEYCF within the Montessori curriculum; Applying knowledge of the UK EYFS and Reception/Year 1 progress and attainment expectations to support student learning, progress, attainment and transitions; Maintaining learning and development observations; Maintaining and analysing detailed learning and development records in our online record-keeping platform; Utilising learning and development analysis to appropriately plan student learning journeys to support optimal progress. Contributing to parent information nights, hosting parent conferences and producing individual termly reports; Indoor and outdoor classroom preparation; Creation, preparation and sanitising of Montessori materials; Assisting children with self-care; Creating both printed and digital publications for parent distribution; Daily parent liaison; Behavioural management in a Montessori setting; SEND record keeping and analysis in collaboration with SEND staff; Administrative tasks associated with a lead classroom role; Camp activity planning and hosting during school holidays. Full job description upon application. Working Conditions: Active classroom-based role requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and floor work with children. Includes supervision of indoor and outdoor activities in a tropical climate and regular collaboration with colleagues, children, and families. An AMI diploma or a MACTE-accredited Montessori certification as a requirement. A BA in Education and eligible for a Cayman Islands Teaching License. A minimum of 5 years of experience leading in an authentic Montessori classroom. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus, although it is not a requirement for the position. Outstanding classroom management skills, excellent record keeping and lesson planning skills Dependable, adaptable, and flexible team player. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with parents. Salary: KYD $22 to $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Range between 20-30 hours per week between the hours of 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Schedule based on class timetables and student ratio requirements.
