Elderly Care

The applicant’s responsibilities will be

• Provide basic care and monitor safety hazards
• Support patients with mobility issues (e.g. feeding, dressing and hygiene)
• Accompanying patients to doctors and medical appointments
• Assist with basic medical treatments as directed
• Cooking and preparation of meals for the patient
• Communicating effectively with the patient’s family and healthcare providers
• Household maintenance (e.g. weekly laundry and cleaning, daily bathrooms cleaning, etc)
• Running errands as necessary (e.g. collection of prescribed medication, grocery shopping etc)

The applicant must have

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in caregiving field
• CPR/First Aid Certification (Level 1,2 and 3)
• High School Diploma
• Keen attention to detail, good work ethic and be dependable
• Clean police record and a valid driver’s license
