Job Description

Job Title Client Manager – Fund Services Reporting to Director of Operations Purpose of Role The client manager role is a pivotal role in our organisation, requiring an experienced, passionate, and agile professional to actively engage with our clients in their journey from onboarding through to ongoing delivery. The successful candidate will have input into client engagement, departmental operations, and continuously strive to cultivate strong client and staff relationships. Key Accountabilities Client Engagement

  • Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs, goals, and challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted partner, proactively addressing client inquiries and providing solutions to enhance their experience.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to ensure they are informed about key updates, including regulatory changes, reporting timelines, and fund performance.
  • Coordinate periodic client meetings, both virtual and in-person, to discuss service delivery, performance metrics, and any necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure that all client-facing activities align with the company’s commitment to delivering world-class service.

People & Culture

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across teams locally and internationally to foster collaboration and alignment on client service goals.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to team members to help them improve their performance and contribute to the department’s success.
  • Encourage open communication to ensure that ideas, challenges, and solutions are shared effectively within and between teams.

Business Development

  • Collaborate to identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the funds sector.
  • Participate in market research and networking activities to stay ahead of industry trends and client expectations.
  • Actively contribute to proposals and presentations for potential clients, showcasing the department’s strengths and capabilities.
  • Explore opportunities to enhance service offerings and provide added value to existing clients.

Operational Design

  • Evaluate current workflows and processes to identify continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate and influence technology strategy, change management and implementation to streamline client service delivery.
  • Input into operational strategies to align with the company’s growth objectives and client demands.

Knowledge and Experience Essential Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in client management within the financial services or funds industry, with a focus on accounting, investor relations, and regulatory filings.
  • Strong knowledge of Cayman Islands regulations, including AML, AEOI (FATCA/CRS), Economic Substance, and Beneficial Ownership requirements, as they pertain to fund structures.
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional client service, driving client satisfaction, and managing multiple complex client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across local and international offices.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proactive and client-centric approach to service delivery.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting standards, compliance tools, and relevant accounting or fund administration software.

Educational Requirements A university degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.

  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or similar.
  • Candidates must have at least 4 years of post-qualified experience for the role.

The salary range will be US$80K to US$130K per annum, with a 37.5-hour workweek. Benefits as deemed by law.
