HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/ LABOURER

JOB DECRIPTION

• Operating heavy machinery to perform construction-related tasks, such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
• Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
• Ensuring that safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times
• Coordinating and communicating with other construction workers to ensure efficient task completion
• Adhering to all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to construction, safety, and equipment operation
• Load and unload heavy materials from trucks and other transportation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven work experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
• Good physical condition and stamina, able to work in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid certification to operate heavy equipment (preferred).
• Must have a valid Group 4 driver’s license.
