AMB Construction Ltd. specializes in residential and commercial new builds, fit-outs, renovations, and repairs. The company is currently seeking a skilled Roofer/Carpenter who can perform the following duties and responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain fluid applied waterproofing and membrane roofing systems according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
Conduct thorough assessments of roofing systems to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Prepare surfaces for application, including cleaning, priming, and ensuring proper adhesion.
Apply fluid-applied waterproofing materials and membrane roofing systems with precision and care.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
Stay current with industry trends, materials, and techniques related to roofing and waterproofing.
Comfortable working at heights of roof & balconies up to 10 stories.
Qualifications / Skills
Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating effectively with co-workers.
Attentive to detail and consistently alert to ensure safety.
Six years of experience in commercial or residential applications.
Good knowledge of the tools, materials, and methods used for installations.
Knowledge of applicable safety guidelines.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Physically fit and able to work long hours.
Strong working knowledge of job site safety, with the ability to complete company-specific safety orientation.
