The duties of a heavy equipment operator include preparing and operating heavy equipment to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials and liaising with coworkers to ensure that projects are completed accurately. You will be required to conduct your duties in a safe, diligent manner at all times. Loading and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials from heavy equipment. Able to analyze, prioritize, and organize the equipment accordingly. A flexible and firm personality that can make important and timely decisions. Optimize the machine efficiency and improve the productivity of all equipment.
3 to 4 years of experience operating a variety of heavy equipment. Ability to lift to 90 pounds. Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines. The capacity to provide and follow directions. Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure. MUST HAVE a Group 4 Driver’s License Strong oral communication skills to interact with customers and other workers on the jobsite Basic writing skills are required to complete reports and other paperwork accurately. Physical ability to work in a strenuous work environment and strength to operate heavy equipment. TO ACT AS THE POINT OF CONTACT BETWEEN THE MANAGER AND CUSTOMERS, COMPANY EMPLOYEE, AND SALES AGENTS AND SOLICOTPRS. SCREENING AND DIRECTING PHONE CALLS AND DISTRIBUTE CORRESPONDENCE, HANDLING REQUEST AND QUERIES APPROPRIATLEY, DO PICK UP AND DELIVERIES AS NEEDED BETWEEN THE OFFICE AND THE MANAGERS OFFICE. KEEP UP WITH THE FILES AND FOLDERS BETWEEN MANAGERS OFFICE AND SALES OFFICE. MANAGE DAIRY AND SCHEDULE MEETINGS AND APPOINTMENTS, MAKE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS, SOURCE OFFICE SUPPLIES. WORK WEEKEND, LATE NIGHTS AND HOLIDAYS IF NEEDED
