Job Description

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Audit Manager to join our Asset Management practice in the Cayman Islands. This role focuses on delivering high-quality audit services to a portfolio of mutual funds, hedge funds, and private funds, working with a diverse international client base. As a Manager, you will lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of our financial services practice. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit engagements for mutual funds, hedge funds, and private equity/private funds
  • Oversee planning, execution, and completion of audits in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP
  • Review financial statements and audit documentation to ensure compliance with professional standards
  • Manage and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and performance feedback
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Coordinate with global teams and specialists as required
  • Ensure deadlines and budgets are met while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Stay up to date with regulatory and industry developments relevant to asset management

Qualifications & Experience

  • CPA or ACCA qualification (required)
  • Minimum 5–7 years of audit experience, with a strong focus on investment funds
  • Proven experience auditing mutual funds and private funds
  • Solid understanding of investment structures, valuation principles, and financial instruments
  • Experience managing audit teams and client engagements
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Attributes

  • Prior experience with a Big 4 or leading international accounting firm
  • Familiarity with Cayman Islands regulatory environment (e.g., CIMA requirements)
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: US$100,000 – $115,000 (commensurate with experience)
