KDA Construction is seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable professional with a strong commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and project excellence.
Construct, install, repair, and maintain wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision. Install doors, windows, cabinetry, drywall, and other finishing components. Ensure all work meets quality standards and project requirements. Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely. Coordinate effectively with supervisors, subcontractors, and team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Identify and resolve construction issues as they arise. Represent the company professionally on job sites.
Proven experience as a Carpenter in commercial and/or residential construction. Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices. Physically fit and capable of lifting up to fifty (50) pounds. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a team. Valid driver's license is an asset.
