FARMER

EAST END GARDEN & GIFTS LTD T/A CAYMAN FARM & GARDEN is looking for a Farmer to oversee farming operations:

Duties include, but are not limited to

Performing manual labor. Performing maintenance on the farm. Handling heavy machinery. Raise and take care of livestock. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to crops. Inspect crops and livestock to detect diseases and pests. Ensure the quality and safety of farm products. Market and sell products, which may include negotiating with buyers and transporting goods to market. Repairing faulty vehicles and machinery. Managing farming activities. Overseeing farm workers. Devising strategies for harvesting or breeding. Liaising with clients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the farming industry. Able to use modern farming machinery. Awareness of safety regulations in agriculture. Physical strength and stamina. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions. Understanding of disease prevention and pest control methods. Knowledge of farming best practices. Able to work long hours on location. Good communication skills. Must be physically fit. Excellent hand-eye coordination. With a clean police record.
