We are seeking qualified Caymanians or Status Holders to join our team as a Food Runner. The responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:
Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables promptly and accurately.
Ensure that all dishes are complete, properly plated, and served at the correct temperature.
Act as a liaison between the front-of-house and kitchen teams, relaying any specific customer requests or issues.
Inform servers of any special orders, allergy considerations, or kitchen delays.
Help with refilling beverages, serving additional items, and providing utensils as needed.
Ensure that the restaurant maintains proper standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Assist with setting up and breaking down the restaurant before and after service.
Work as a team with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to provide seamless service.
Communicate effectively with guests about dish ingredients or preparation methods when requested.
Monitor table statuses to anticipate needs, such as pre-bussing before the next course.
Experience
Good command of the English language.
Able to work in a high-volume restaurant.
Outstanding communication and people skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Physical endurance to stand, walk, and carry trays of food for extended periods.
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is a plus but not required.
Candidate will be required to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
