Hakone Enterprises Ltd. T/A Hakone Recruitment Services is seeking a qualified, honest, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Agent to join our team.
Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and provide information about available vehicles, rental rates, terms, and conditions. Process vehicle rental reservations, agreements, payments, and related documentation. Assist customers with vehicle collection and return procedures, including inspecting vehicles for existing damage and recording mileage and fuel levels. Explain rental policies, vehicle features, insurance options, and return requirements. Coordinate vehicle availability, scheduling, and preparation with the rental team. Handle customer complaints and resolve service issues in a professional manner. Maintain accurate customer records, rental documents, and daily transaction reports. Assist with vehicle cleaning, refuelling, and general preparation when required. Ensure the reception area, rental counter, and customer service areas are clean and presentable. Perform other duties related to the efficient operation of the car rental business.
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred. Proficient in computer systems and keyboarding. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work well with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful situations. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles may be required. The candidate must be reliable, professional, attentive to detail, and available to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when necessary. Clean police record.
