Gardener

Seeking gardener with minimum 5 years industry experience in commercial and residential sector.

Responsibilities

Gardener responsibilities include monitoring the health of all plants and soft-scape and hardscape areas, watering and feeding plants, trimming trees and shrubs, fertilizing and mowing lawns, weeding gardens and keeping green spaces and walkways clear of debris and litter. You should know how to use and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers and fertilizers, while following health and safety regulations.

Skills/Responsibilities

a. Proficient with all gardening equipment to include mower(reel and rotary)s, trimmers, edgers, blowers, mini skid steers, man-lifts, chainsaws, trenchers etc. b. Competency in identifying tropical plants. c. Ability to install and maintain irrigation systems. d. Identify plant pests and diseases and treat appropriately. e. Apply fertilizer as per horticultural guidelines. f. Capable of pruning large canopy trees and palms. g. Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repairs. h. Familiar with landscaping design. i. Able to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor tropical environment. j. Provide work logs to management
