General Helper

Position: General Helper Work type: Full time Salary: 8.75 KYD - 10.00 KYD

• Help with dishwashing, including loading and unloading dishwashers, and washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen work areas, including counters, sinks, appliances, and floors.
• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.
• Receive and store food supplies and ingredients, ensuring proper rotation and organization in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
• Assist in setting up and stocking various kitchen stations.
• Clear tables of dirty dishes, glassware, and flatware during and after service.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and other dining room surfaces.
• Assist with carrying clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors throughout the restaurant (kitchen, dining room, restrooms).
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are stocked and sanitary.
• Empty trash cans throughout the restaurant and replace liners.
• Assist with general upkeep and organization of storage areas, walk-in coolers, and other facilities.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Be willing to learn and take on new tasks as needed.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
