CEL Cooling & Supply is a leading provider of high-efficiency climate control and ventilation equipment and materials in the Cayman Islands. We are seeking a dynamic, highly driven, and technically proficient HVAC Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is a blend of technical consultation, territory relationship management, and proactive business development across both residential and commercial sectors in Grand Cayman. Core Duties & Responsibilities
Proactive Lead Generation: Source, qualify, and build an independent pipeline of new residential and commercial clients through direct outbound methods.
On-Site Consultations & Cold Calling: Conduct daily cold calls, drop-ins, and face-to-face site visits with homeowners, property managers, developers, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) contractors.
Technical Estimating & Project Sourcing: Read architectural plans/blueprints, evaluate existing thermal spaces, and recommend tailored HVAC systems (including VRF/VRV, split systems, and commercial chillers).
Digital Marketing Integration: Actively participate in, collaborate on, and help execute localized digital marketing campaigns to drive inbound business inquiries.
End-to-End Deal Closure: Manage the entire sales cycle from the initial cold outreach and technical proposal submission to final contract negotiation and client onboarding.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of verifiable, hands-on experience specifically in HVAC Outside Sales, covering both residential and commercial markets.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding corporate sales targets, closing high-value commercial HVAC contracts, and managing long sales cycles.
Sourcing Grit: Must demonstrate a strong willingness and physical capacity to perform consistent field work, active cold calling, and self-directed lead generation.
Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of modern climate control technology, air distribution, energy efficiency metrics, and coastal environment equipment challenges.
Communication & Marketing: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency or comfort with social media, CRM systems, and digital promotional frameworks is highly preferred.
Licensing: Must possess a clean, valid driver's license.
________________________________________ Core Hours: Full-time 45 hours per week (Typically Monday – Friday, with occasional weekend or evening client events as required) Salary Structure: CI$5,000 per month (CI$60,000 per annum) base salary + an uncapped performance-based commission structure to be negotiated.
