Popo Jebs Enterprises Ltd. T/A Popo Jeb’s Restaurant & Bar – Grand Cayman is looking to hire a hard-working kitchen helper/ bartender to clean, stock, and maintain the kitchen as well as help with the preparation of meal ingredients. Bartender Duties & Responsibilities Greet customers and provide excellent service. Take and prepare drink orders accurately. Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Verify age and serve alcohol responsibly. Process payments and operate the POS system. Keep the bar clean, organized, and stocked. Monitor inventory and restock supplies. Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards. Handle customer concerns professionally. Work with staff to ensure efficient service. Kitchen Helper Duties Assist with food preparation and stock supplies. Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment. Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchenware. Unload and store deliveries. Sweep, mop floors, and remove trash. Restock dining and kitchen areas for service. Clean kitchen machines and appliances. Support daily restaurant operations, including heavy lifting. Assist team members with additional tasks as needed. Follow food safety standards and report any hazards or violations.
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Exceptional time management skills and Excellent organizational skills. Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 25 pounds. Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures. Proven experience helping in kitchen settings. The ability to safely use kitchen equipment and appliances. Sound knowledge of food safety standards and procedures. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays. With a Clean Police record.
