The successful candidate will possess a profound understanding of horticultural practices and landscape maintenance to help us maintain the high-quality, pristine environments our clients have come to expect. Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesLawn and Plant Care: Mowing, edging, trimming, and cultivating lawns, as well as planting, transplanting, and maintaining flowers, shrubs, and trees. Landscape Maintenance: Performing regular weeding, pruning, and deadheading to promote healthy plant growth and visual appeal. Soil and Nutrient Management: Mixing and applying fertilizers, compost, and other soil amendments, as well as safely handling pest and weed control treatments. Irrigation Management: Operating, monitoring, and performing basic maintenance on irrigation and sprinkler systems to ensure optimal hydration for various plant species. Equipment Operation: Safely operating and maintaining a variety of hand tools and powered landscaping equipment, including lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and chainsaws. Site Upkeep: Clearing debris, raking leaves, and ensuring that all client properties—both residential and commercial—remain immaculate and safe. Landscape Design Support: Assisting with the layout and installation of new garden beds, hardscaping elements, and seasonal floral displays. Qualifications and RequirementsExperience: A minimum of 5 years of verifiable, hands-on experience in the gardening and landscaping industry.Skills: Strong work ethic, reliable service record, and specialized knowledge of landscaping equipment and safety procedures. Language: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English. Compliance: Must be willing to submit to medical, police clearance, and relevant English language testing if required by WORC regulations.
