We are seeking a highly experienced Food and Beverage (F&B) professional to join our dynamic team at Sandbar. This role requires a seasoned individual with a strong background in bar service, guest relations, and event operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in fast-paced hospitality environments and be confident managing multiple responsibilities across bar service, event support, and promotional efforts.
Provide high-level bar service during regular operations and private events, including mixing cocktails, serving guests, and maintaining a clean and organized bar. Assist with the planning, coordination, and on-the-ground execution of in-house events and special functions. Support guest relations by providing an exceptional customer service experience and resolving guest inquiries or concerns professionally and promptly. Collaborate with management in the marketing, sales, and promotion of events, including digital and on-site activations. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with food and beverage service regulations. Train and guide junior bar or service staff as needed.
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the Food & Beverage industry, with demonstrated knowledge in both front-of-house service and bar operations. Proven experience supporting or co-managing hospitality events, including logistics and guest coordination. Experience in event marketing or sales, including outreach, promotions, or social media engagement related to hospitality or entertainment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by event schedules.
Leadership potential or previous supervisory experience. Familiarity with POS systems, booking platforms, and event software. Well-connected in the local F&B or event scene is an asset.
