Import Clerk

• Should be able to prepare, verify, and process import documentation (bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.)
• Should have up to date knowledge of import regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance requirements.
• knowledge of tracking shipments and liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Should have strong communication skills to negotiate with asian markets
• Should be able to maintain accurate records of all import transactions for audit and reporting purposes.
