Requires familiarization of the maintenance and development of gardens by performing a variety of duties outdoors at different locations around Grand Cayman. These duties are, but not limited to planting, replanting, edging, raking, trimming, designing/creating, pruning, weeding, cutting, mowing and fertilizing gardens, parks, flower beds and lawns. Operating and maintenance of garden tools and machinery such as Lawnmowers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc. Adherence to all Health & Safety protocols especially when mixing and applying necessary chemicals to treat plants for pests and diseases while on site are required. The work week is Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:00pm and Saturdays half-day. Wages are paid every two weeks at KYD$8.75 per hour, lunch break included. Should be able to work unsupervised on specific duties/tasks and/or as part of a team to complete work in a timely manner. Good physical fitness and mobility is required; knowledge of Spanish and English language, and a driver's license would be assets but are not required. All benefits/entitlements as per Labour, Health and Pensions Acts.
