Job Description

The Senior Sales Representative position is responsible for representing the wholesale port-folio of Cayman Distributors Ltd. to accounts within the Cayman Islands market as as-signed by the Brand Manager. The primary responsibilities are sales, brand development and promotion, and customer support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Call on accounts daily
  • Review and strategize a plan for monthly targets set by manager
  • Set and maintain normal inventory levels for all accounts in and out of season (customer training) to prevent unnecessary emergency orders or out of stocks
  • Set order and delivery dates to best fit the need of the customer and the company
  • Work required hours to ensure all accounts covered and proper buyers, owners and man-agers met and informed regularly
  • Provide immediate list of all accounts and which products they carry
  • Target accounts not currently carrying our brands and provide pre-plan to gain distribution in those accounts
  • Plan out yearly promotions, budget and present to sales, marketing and management teams
  • Determine inventory needs by month while pre-planning needs against upcoming promo-tions
  • Develop monthly progress report and provide known objections to other sales depart-ments and operations.
  • Provide depletion reports monthly
  • Complete weekly action report on your accounts including total sales and new business obtained
  • Provide training to sales assistants and customers on features and benefits of brands
  • Monitor competitive brands promotions and react accordingly to combat
  • Maintain constant communication with sales teams and management
  • Promote monthly contests and campaigns to all accounts at or below budget.

  • Sales Targets are met
  • Accounts are managed in accordance with established Company policies and proce-dures
  • Recommendations for product development, placement, and promotions are made as appropriate
  • Excellent working relationships exist with customers
  • Management is appropriately informed of significant problems, area activities, and com-petitive conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of five (5) years proven experience of developing brands
  • A strong marketing background with demonstrable experience managing large-scale promotional events from start to finish.
  • An excellent understanding of the Cayman Islands beverage market including current consumer trends, both locally and globally.
  • A confident, positive and outgoing person trends is needed for this position.
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting tasting seminars and public speaking.
  • Strong working knowledge of all major MS Office programs
  • The ability to work long and often unsociable hours without immediate supervision.
  • Must enjoy working in a fast paced, target orientated team.
  • A valid Cayman Islands driver’s license.
