We are seeking an experienced Heavy Machine Operator with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience to operate and maintain heavy equipment including backhoes, bulldozers, dump trucks, and excavators.
Key Duties
Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
Transport construction materials between sites
Load, unload, and verify material quantities against delivery notes
Carry out excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation works
Perform daily equipment inspections, general maintenance, and routine servicing
Ensure compliance with road safety regulations, traffic laws, and site safety requirements
Report mechanical issues and maintain accurate records
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ proven experience as a heavy machine operator
Valid Cayman Islands Level 4 Driver’s Licence
Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic management
Ability to carry out daily maintenance and equipment checks
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
