Dental Surgical Assistant

The Dental Centre in the Cayman Islands is seeking an experienced Dental Surgical Assistant to join our professional and friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of dental assisting experience, with strong hands-on experience in oral surgery and periodontal assisting. Key responsibilities include chairside assisting during surgical and periodontal procedures, preparing surgical trays and treatment rooms, maintaining sterile fields, sterilizing instruments, following infection control protocols, supporting patients before and after treatment, maintaining accurate clinical records, and ensuring operatories are fully stocked and organized. Candidates must be professional, dependable, organized, attentive to detail, and confident assisting with surgical procedures and instrumentation. Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills are essential. Current registration/licensure with the Cayman Islands Medical and Dental Council (MDC) would be a strong advantage.
