We are seeking a skilled and passionate Braidist/Pedicurist to join our small beauty salon team. This role is ideal for a versatile beauty professional who excels in braiding techniques while also providing high-quality pedicure and nail services. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional client experiences, staying current with beauty trends, and maintaining a clean, professional workspace. A basic understanding of handling minor nail conditions is essential to ensure safe and appropriate service delivery. This role also requires flexibility to assist with general salon duties, contributing to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented environment.
Deliver a welcoming, friendly, and professional experience for all clients. Perform a variety of braiding styles including box braids, cornrows, twists, and locs. Provide pedicure services, including regular and gel polish applications. Carry out manicure services and apply nail extensions where required. Demonstrate basic knowledge in identifying and safely handling minor nail conditions, including fungal concerns, and refer clients when necessary. Wash, treat, and blow-dry clients’ hair as part of service preparation for braids. Stay up to date with current hair and beauty trends, techniques, and products. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in line with health and safety standards. Consult with clients to recommend suitable styles and services based on their needs. Assist with general salon duties and support team members as required.
