Carpenter

DENVER A BARNES T/A EXCLUSIVE BUILDERS CONSTRUCTION is seeking a qualified and dependable Carpenter to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work. Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation. Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures. Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job, sourcing wood to suit the customer’s budget and style. Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other construction professionals. Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects, and building code recommendations. Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation. Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required. Compliance with local building codes and health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service. Maintain clean and safe work areas.

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proven work experience as a Carpenter or similar role. Knowledge of carpentry techniques and the ability to use hand and power tools High school diploma. Good communication skills. Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination. Knowledge of mathematics. Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials. Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment. Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects. Must have a clean police record.
