Location: Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands R&M Enterprise Holdings T/A Indecor Finishing is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mason to join our construction team. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven track record in high-quality masonry and finishing work. Minimum Experience: 7+ Years in professional masonry and construction.
Read and interpret architectural blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine project requirements, structural alignments, and material quantities. Accurately measure, cut, and shape masonry materials including concrete block, brick, and stone. Mix mortar, cement, and plaster to the correct consistency and apply it to structural surfaces for a durable, high-quality finish. Construct, maintain, and repair interior and exterior walls, foundations, partitions, and finishing surfaces. Ensure all structural alignments are perfectly plumb, level, and square using industry-standard tools (levels, plumb bobs, squares). Maintain a clean, secure, and organized work environment in strict compliance with local building codes and occupational health and safety standards. Safely operate and maintain masonry tools and light construction equipment.
Minimum of seven (7) years of proven experience as a Mason or in a similar role. Deep understanding of masonry techniques, materials, and construction site safety. Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively alongside a broader construction team.
Wages: CI$ 12.00 per hour (minimum) Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Benefits: Statutory pension and health insurance contributions will be provided in strict accordance with Cayman Islands Labor, Pension, and Health Insurance Laws. Vacation: Two (2) weeks of paid vacation per annum, as per statutory requirements.
