Must be well versed with at least 10 years’ experience operating various types of asphalt rollers while understanding the various compaction methods (inclusive of breakdown, intermediate and finish rolling). Must understand and be able to operate various types of motor driven rollers and understand the various compaction methods for sub-base, base and final grades to achieve targeted densities for hotmix asphalt applications. Must also know which type of roller to use for various types of compaction. Only applicants meeting the above qualification will be interviewed. A test of skills and knowledge will be administered to qualified candidates. Must have a valid drivers’ license with, a clean driving and police record. Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays when required. Random drug testing may be required.
