Job Description
PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for the monthly management results of the Special Situations entities as well as the preparation of the interim and year-end financial statements ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management results for Special Situation entities across Cayman and BVI, adhering to strict internal reporting deadlines.
Responsible for the preparation of annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant Reporting Standards.
Responsible for the interim review and year-end audit of the Special Situations entities, being a key contact for auditors and managing the audit deliverables.
Responsible for bookkeeping and reconciliation of salaries for the Caribbean Group.
Ensure financial accounts records are kept up to date.
Responsible for line management and mentoring of an accounts member of staff, this includes ensuring the deliverables aligned to the accounts team member are completed.
Involvement in the year end budgeting process.
Adhere to JTC core values and guiding principles.
Adhere to Risk & Associate Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
ACCA/ACA qualified.
8+ years of experience in audit or accountancy roles.
Demonstratable experience taking ownership and leading a finance function in-house.
Previous line management experience is essential
Adaptable and accountable team player delivering for Cayman, BVI, and wider global finance team, where required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
