RDM INTERIOR DESIGN is seeking a skilled and reliable handyman/general helper who will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties, including maintaining green spaces, identifying the need for repairs, responding to clients’ maintenance requests, and servicing company equipment.
Cleaning facilities regularly. Regularly perform maintenance jobs and light repairs. Performing various landscaping tasks. Fill gaps and provide painting services. Perform lightning installation and carpeting. Repair equipment, multiple machines, and appliances. Identify, document, and report maintenance and repair work. Suggest additional repairs when identified and needed. Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, etc. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs. Maintain, service, clean, and properly store equipment. Check the functionality of safety systems. Participate in different projects (e.g., renovations). Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. Perform other related duties and activities as required.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required. 1-2 Years Experience in a similar role. Solid experience with plumbing and electrical systems. Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment. Extremely organized with good communication skills. Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving. Must be able to and enjoy working both indoors and outdoors in all weather. Must be self-motivating. Ability to work a very physically demanding job at times. Must have a willingness to work flexible shifts. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays when needed. With a clean police record.
