Emerald Landscape & Hardscape is seeking a reliable and experienced Landscape Technician to join our growing team in Grand Cayman. The successful candidate will be responsible for landscape installation, irrigation systems, grounds maintenance, and supporting hardscape projects for residential, strata, and commercial properties while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Install and maintain trees, shrubs, palms, flowers, turf, mulch, and landscape features. Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, drip irrigation systems, and underground pipework. Diagnose irrigation leaks, poor water coverage, drainage issues, and faulty components. Prepare planting beds through excavation, grading, and soil preparation. Support hardscape projects, including pavers, edging, retaining walls, gravel placement, drainage preparation, and site cleanup. Operate landscaping equipment safely, including mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, blowers, compact machinery, and power tools. Read and follow landscape plans and installation specifications. Maintain clean and safe work sites. Assist with hurricane preparation and post-storm cleanup. Perform other duties assigned by management. Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience in landscape installation and maintenance. Demonstrated experience installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems. Experience with hardscape installation, including pavers, edging, retaining walls, and drainage systems. Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and power tools. Knowledge of tropical plants, soil preparation, and landscape construction techniques. Ability to read landscape plans and follow project specifications. Physically fit and able to perform manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Valid Cayman Islands Driver's Licence preferred. Police Clearance Certificate may be required.
