The jobholder is responsible for leading the delivery of complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through to completion within a dynamic and regulated environment. The role owns end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and closure, and is accountable for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business and regulatory objectives. Working closely with stakeholders across business, technology, risk, and compliance, the Senior Project Manager ensures that solutions are delivered in line with organizational standards, risk frameworks, and control requirements, while supporting sustainable operational outcomes. The Senior Project Manager also contributes to strengthening delivery practices across the PMO by promoting consistency, governance discipline, and continuous improvement.
Key functions of the job are
Leads end-to-end delivery of a wide range of projects (from small enhancements to large-scale change initiatives), ensuring alignment to business strategy, regulatory obligations, and agreed outcomes.
Develops and manages detailed project plans, defining scope, deliverables, success measures, schedules, budgets, resource needs, dependencies, and milestones; maintains plans throughout the lifecycle and manages approved changes.
Owns project governance and delivery discipline, including establishing governance structures, facilitating steering committees and working groups, providing clear status reporting (schedule, budget, risks, issues, decisions), and escalating matters appropriately to enable timely decisions and delivery continuity.
Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates project, operational, and regulatory risks; ensures appropriate controls are designed and evidenced, engages risk/compliance partners as required, and maintains accurate risk and issues logs with clear owners and target dates.
Determines resource requirements and leads cross-functional delivery teams (internal and external), clarifying roles and responsibilities, coordinating work across functions, removing blockers, and driving accountability to achieve project milestones.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Technology, or a related field; MBA or master’s degree in a relevant discipline is an asset.
Project management certification preferred (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent); Agile certification (e.g., Scrum or equivalent) is an asset.
Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive project management experience, delivering projects across the full lifecycle, including at least 2–3 years operating in a senior project management capacity leading complex or high-impact initiatives.
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups, multiple concurrent projects or large-scale initiatives, and project budgets, governance, and risk management.
Solid understanding of project governance, risk, and control frameworks within complex or regulated environments.
