CLOUD'S AIRCONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION is looking for a qualified general helper to perform routine maintenance, replacing parts, repairing machinery, and furnishing the HVAC technicians with tools, materials, and supplies.
Set up work areas with the necessary supplies. Receive shipments from clients (materials). Minor maintenance on shop machines, such as checking liquid levels, cleaning, and changing parts. Clean work areas, including sweeping, removing scrap material, and shopkeeping. Cleaning up work areas from debris and machinery. Assisting with the installation of HVAC systems on commercial and residential properties. Assisting with the Installation, maintenance, and repair of roof units for heating and air conditioning, as well as the units inside residential and commercial buildings. Operating a variety of hand and power tools needed for HVAC installation. Cleaning and replacing air ducts. Following instructions for picking up and delivering parts, tools, materials, and supplies to and from the job site. Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working order. Completing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and the associated equipment. Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing plumbing and electrical systems. Coordinating with team members to provide excellent customer service.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds, etc.). Familiarity with all tools and equipment necessary for HVAC installation and maintenance. Physical fitness and manual dexterity. Ability to follow instructions. Good communication, customer service skills, and teamwork skills. Good hand-eye coordination. Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus. Commitment to safety rules. Availability to work on weekends and holidays. With a Clean Police record.
