Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced warehouse supervisor to effectively assist the management team in the daily operations of the warehouse. A person who will provide leadership and direction to the warehouse staff, and maintain efficient inventory records, organize storage, safe handling of materials, and deliver courteous, professional customer service. This position plays a key role in maintaining product accuracy, smooth logistics, and overall customer satisfaction. As a Warehouse Supervisor, your responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:

• Oversee the operation of the warehouse, the receiving and distribution of inventory, and the supervising and scheduling of workflow of the warehouse staff.
• Interact with management, warehouse, and sales staff to ensure cohesiveness and efficiency in the operations of the warehouse.
• Prepare, file, and organize deliveries and paperwork for the next day’s deliveries.
• Perform various physical safety and security checks of the warehouse floor and equipment and make recommendations where necessary for preventative measures.
• Facilitate warehouse equipment maintenance and prepare records for management.
• Direct inbound and outbound trailers, organize, and assist with the unloading and loading of containers.
• Inspect and verify the quantities of goods and report any difference observed on container paperwork.
• Inspect inventory for damaged stock, and report to management.
• Track inventory stock levels, search for lost or misplaced inventory and prepare reports for management.
• Ensure the accuracy of goods that are to be delivered outward by following proper procedure.
• Schedule the general upkeep of warehouse, organization and packing of the warehouse, and the restocking of the showroom/store floor if needed.
• Facilitate warehouse equipment maintenance and prepare records for management.
• Drive forklift/delivery truck or handling equipment in a safe conscientious manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and peers alike.
• Maintain the security of the warehouse at all times.

Requirements

• 3-5 Years Warehouse & Supervisor Experience
• Will be required to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Physical agility to frequently stop, kneel, bend, crouch, pull, lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Work indoor/outdoor environments including exposure to dust and sun.
