Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and managing project activities.
  • Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, budgets, schedules, and change orders.
  • Track project costs and assist with budget management.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Identify potential project risks and escalate issues to the Project Manager.
  • Assist in procurement and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and project requirements.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, record meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Support quality assurance and project inspections as required.
  • Help manage project deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist with project closeout, including final documentation and reporting.
  • Reviewing QS reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinating with the Quantity Surveyor to ensure reports are submitted on time.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum nine ( 9 ) years of supervisory, project coordination or project management experience preferred.
  • Experience in industries such as construction, engineering, or professional services is a must.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), AutoCAD, MS Planner, and Plan Swift are required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Valid Cayman Islands driver’s license.

Salary is dependent on experience, gas and mobile allowance, plus benefits in accordance with the Cayman Islands Government. This is a full-time position in George Town, Grand Cayman, at a minimum of 40 hours per week.
