Job Description

The Real Estate Agent works with property buyers and sellers to help them navigate the complex nature of the property market. Duties will include advising clients on the general process surrounding real estate transactions and supporting clients at every step of the process. In addition to staying current with the real estate regulations and market trends, the Real Estate Agent is tasked with a multitude of daily duties and responsibilities, from lead generation and marketing, to open houses and property closings. This position requires a dynamic and energetic professional who takes pride in providing an exceptional level of customer service to a diverse buyer portfolio ranging from individual purchasers and families to property developers and ultra-high net worth individuals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to buy and sell residential, high-end development, and bespoke luxury real estate properties within the Cayman Islands.
  • Actively seek and solicit clients by promoting our boutique luxury brand, networking, advertising and offering services to potential interested parties.
  • Show various properties to prospective buyers in order to showcase options and help them find the right property.
  • Advertise and promote properties in alignment with our brand in order to attract clients and draw traffic to properties for sale or rent.
  • In conjunction with the Transaction Coordinator, draft sale and purchase contracts for respective parties to be completed upon the closing of the real estate transaction.
  • Advise clients on best practices, in light of market conditions, general prospects and other relevant impacting factors.
  • Negotiate between buyers and sellers to facilitate agreements that best serve both parties involved and maintain the value of the property at hand.
  • Ensure that all real estate transactions initiated are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations relating to the purchase or sale of a property.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for luxury real estate offerings by exhibiting impeccable professionalism, discretion, and market expertise in all client interactions
  • Real estate agents are responsible for independently building and maintaining their own book of business. This includes sourcing, cultivating, and managing their own clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business or related field) or 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a Sales Agent/Broker, OR a Bachelor’s Degree (Business or related field) and 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Sales/Business Development, with a demonstrated track record of working with high net-worth and ultra-high net worth clients will also be considered.
  • Cayman Islands Real Estate License (required)
  • Passion for the Cayman Islands property market.
  • Proven track record of sales.
  • Excellent closing skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and sell effectively.
  • Trustworthy and results driven.
  • Ability to mediate disagreements between buyers and sellers.
  • Outstanding people skills with a demonstrable aptitude for negotiation.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs and processes.
  • Availability to work weekends is required in order to conduct property showings and host open houses.
  • Must have reliable transportation and hold a valid Cayman Islands driver’s license.

Salary Range: CI$1,500 to CI$2,000 per month (DOE) plus commission, and benefits per the Cayman Islands Labour Law.
