Head of Insurance

ABOUT THE JOB: FIS Insurance Brokers is part of group of locally owned companies serving the community for over 20 years. We are licensed by CIMA to provide insurance brokerage services. We are in search of a candidate to assume the position of Head of Insurance to provide continual day to day management of the operations. The successful candidate must hold a recognized insurance qualification, preferably Chartered Insurance Broker (ACII) or Bsc in Business and must demonstrate strong technical expertise in Property, Casualty and Health insurance across local and international markets. POSITION REPORTS TO: The Board of Directors

The successful candidate would be responsible for

• Providing effective leadership, oversight and management of general staff matters for all employees within the company.
• Establishing, implementing, and maintaining appropriate systems of internal control, accounting and reporting to the Chairman and other directors and representatives of the Employer.
• To assist in formulating and implementing management objectives, plans, and marketing proposals.
• Assisting with the oversight of the Customer Service Representatives and front-line staff members.
• Developing and executing strategies that align with the organization’s goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years senior management experience.

• Good customer service skills.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
• Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills

SALARY & BENEFITS

• CI$84K – CI$90k per annum – commensurate with experience
• Government mandated health and pension benefits included
