CARPENTER

M&J CONSTRUCTION CAYMAN LTD is seeking a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Carpenter to join our construction team and perform quality carpentry work on various residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction drawings and plans. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install materials. Perform framing, roofing, flooring, cabinetry, and general carpentry work. Construct, repair, and maintain structures and fixtures. Safely operate hand and power tools. Inspect work to ensure accuracy and quality. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas. Follow workplace safety procedures and building standards. Work effectively with supervisors, contractors, and other trades. Complete assigned projects safely and within required timelines. Qualifications 5-6 years of experience as a carpenter or in a similar construction role. Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques. Ability to read plans and take accurate measurements. Good knowledge of health and safety practices. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Physically capable of performing manual work and lifting materials. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license is an asset. Clean police record.
