Job Title: Sign Maker
A Sign Maker designs, fabricates, and installs a variety of signs for businesses, events, and public spaces. This role requires a mix of creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail to produce visually appealing and durable signage.
Design signs using graphic design software or hand-drawn concepts Operate equipment such as vinyl cutters, CNC machines, and printers Measure, cut, and assemble materials including wood, metal, plastic, and vinyl Apply lettering, graphics, and finishes to signs Install signs at client locations, ensuring proper placement and safety Repair or maintain existing signage when needed Communicate with clients to understand requirements and provide recommendations Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
Experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW) Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Basic knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely Good problem-solving and time management skills
