Landscaper

The Grove Residences is welcoming applications for the position of Landscaper. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the property's outdoor spaces, ensuring all gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas are healthy, attractive, and maintained to a high standard. Key Duties Maintain all outdoor green spaces, including lawns, gardens, plant beds, trees, and shrubs. Perform mowing, trimming, pruning, edging, and general grounds maintenance. Maintain and monitor the property's irrigation systems to ensure proper operation. Apply fertilizers and other treatments to promote healthy plant growth. Remove weeds, dead plants, and other unwanted vegetation as required. Replace plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees where necessary. Monitor plant health and report any pest, disease, or irrigation issues. Liaise with landscape architects and assist with implementing new landscaping projects and plant layouts. Make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to the property's green spaces. Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely and effectively. Ensure all outdoor areas remain clean, tidy, and visually appealing. Minimum Requirements Minimum 5 years' landscaping or grounds maintenance experience. Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, fertilization, and pruning techniques. Ability to use landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Reliable, punctual, and professional in conduct. Knowledge of local plants and landscaping practices is an asset. Hours & Compensation Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Salary: CI$3,000.00 per month.
