Caribbean Home Cooking, a mobile catering service for cruise ship passengers, seeks a hardworking Kitchen Helper! Preparing and assisting with cooking Caribbean meals; preparing meats, poultry, seafood, rice, vegetables, soups, sauces and side dishes; following recipes and customer orders; portioning and packaging meals; preparing ingredients in advance; maintaining food stocks; washing dishes; cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas and equipment; and assisting with opening and closing duties.Food safety knowledge, good communication and basic reading and mathematics skills required. Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be available for days, nights, split shifts, weekends and public holidays. Reliable transportation and a clean Police Clearance are required.
