Job Description

You are a seasoned professional and will work with the firm's partners to strategically manage and grow the Audit practice. You take pride in driving quality, leading business development activities, and managing the practice.

You can expect to

  • Oversee the execution of audit engagements and the development and management of audit plans, and provide on-going audit and accounting advice on complex technical areas such as accounting standards, risk assessments, and actively monitor the results of the audit plan ensuring compliance with audit quality standards.
  • Optimize audit plans and execution, and champion the adoption of and training on new technologies, as well as regulatory and industry standards.
  • Provide strategic leadership, oversee project management and resource allocation, and effectively collaborate with delivery centers and specialists to ensure seamless client delivery.

You are someone with

  • A bachelor’s degree preferably in a related field; or equivalent qualification (i.e., ACCA).
  • An internationally recognized professional accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA).
  • A minimum of 30+ years' progressive experience in audit, including in depth experience in Investment Management within a professional services firm or large-scale public accounting organization.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ of demonstrated team leadership experience, practice management experience, and experience building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • A proven track record in business development and experience leading large-scale client engagements within the Financial Services industry.

The incumbent will perform the essential functions of this full-time role under normal working conditions, which include a professional office environment at the Deloitte office in Camana Bay. This entails working during standard business hours (minimum 37.5 hours per week) with access to all necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively. Flexibility is required to work outside of regular hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet deadlines, address urgent matters, and coordinate with colleagues in different time zones. A comprehensive remuneration package is being offered with excellent benefits including health insurance, group life and disability insurance, well-being subsidy, professional development allowance, and access to Employee Assistance Programs (“EAP”). Salary will be in the range of US$290,000 to US$310,000 depending on experience and ability. We are currently seeking to fill one (1) vacancy for this position.
