JEP Welding is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and physically fit Welder Helper to assist welder and fabrication personnel with daily welding, metalwork, and site operations. The successful candidate will support welding activities, maintain tools and materials, prepare work areas, and assist with installation, repair, and fabrication projects at various job sites. The Welder Helper must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, following safety procedures, and performing manual labor in both workshop and field conditions.
The Welder Helper’s duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist welders with fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance work Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for welding and fabrication operations Measure, cut, grind, drill, and fit metal components as directed Carry, move, load, and organize steel, pipes, metal sheets, and other materials Operate basic hand tools, grinders, and power tools under supervision Assist with installation of gates, railings, frames, and structural components Maintain cleanliness and safety of workshop and job site areas Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE Travel to various job sites and perform related duties as assigned by management
Basic knowledge of welding tools, equipment, and workshop practices is required. Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor and lifting heavy materials Ability to work in outdoor environments and various job site conditions
