Love Your Dog seeks an experienced Dog Trainer to work at its facility in Grand Cayman. The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting structured dog training sessions, implementing obedience and behaviour modification programs, supervising dogs in daycare environments, assisting with board-and-train programs, and ensuring the safety and welfare of dogs in the employer’s care. Requirements: Minimum seven (7) years professional dog training experience, with a strong background in behaviour modification and working with dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Applicants must have experience using remote training collars (e-collars) as part of humane, structured training programs for basic obedience and behaviour modification.
Hold a valid driver’s license. Be able to work flexible hours including weekends. Provide proof of professional dog training experience, including references, client testimonials, or examples of dogs they have successfully trained. Due to the specialized nature of the role, the successful applicant must demonstrate extensive hands-on experience in professional dog training and behaviour modification, including managing dogs with behavioural challenges in structured training environments. Salary: CI$2,500 per month Hours: Approximately 45 hours per week Contract: Twelve (12) month fixed-term contract
